Dressage at Devon 2012
Dressage at Devon was washed in colored for 2012. There were three Appaloosa Sport Horses and five Knapstruppers present for this year’s show. The Knapstruppers were all very lovely and it was their first year at Devon. I have to say the Knapstrupper IBC winner was a very lovely 2012 filly named Rapide.
I brought my mare Revs Go Go Dancer known as Lilly this year. This would be her third Devon appearance. She brought home the third place ribbon with 69.2%.
In second place was a colorful leopard pony named Fire Doggie. Fire Doggie is owned by Lisa Rasmuson and handled by Quinton Alston. They scored 70.0% for 2nd place.
Taking home the blue ribbon this year was Tribute to Chocklate a 7 year old son of Chocolate Confetti. Tribute to Chocklate is owned by Martha Mitchell and was handled by Quinnten Alston and scored a 72.9%.
I don’t have pictures yet. But once I do I’ll post them. Think about joining us in 2013. Devon is a great horse show and it’s one of my favorite events of the year. Yes I rather ride my horse but just being at Devon is an experience. Hope to see you in 2013!
